Solanum was started to help companies treat AI adoption as a deliberate decision, not something that happens to them.
We kept seeing the same thing: most companies we looked at had no AI policy at all - employees already using tools nobody signed off on, with no one tracking what data went where. Shadow AI, in other words, spreading tool by tool until it was already everywhere. Solanum exists to flip that order - policy and adoption planned together, before that happens instead of after.
